2020-Fields-Fall-First-Day

Fields for Fall 2010 Soccer:

Road goes North/South. N = North, S=South
Brown squares are Porta-Potties.

Spraying Tips:
Keep shaking a can with one hand while spraying the field with the other.
The can in the hand is handy for marking corner kick arches and also to mark two feet on each side of the goal post (so you do not have to move the goal).

Walk at a pace as if you were balancing a book on your head.

You will need approximately the following number of cans of the non-rustoleum paint:
U19: 10
U12: 7
U10: 6
U8: 5
U6: 2

Rustolem paint:
U19: 7
U12: 5
U10: 4
U8: 3
U6: 1

Aug 2010 Field Layout recommendations.
1: Make sure grass is cut short at a diagonal. This will take four cuttings after the field has been hayed.

2: Use two tape measures and make 60' 80' 100' Triangles (3,4,5). Make arcs at the end of the lines to form the right triangle.

3: Test sprayers before getting the crew together.

4: Roundup at the end of the fall and spring seasons (at least the corners)

5: Make some reference points off the fields for the corners of the playing areas, get more air pictures.
